An Antonov 12 cargo plane was destroyed when it crashed in the Mvoumvou residential area of Pointe-Noire, Congo. The airplane was approaching runway 17 when it came down. It struck several houses and burst into flames.
AFP quoted a local official who reported that there were four crew members and five passengers on the plane. A spokesman of the Russian embassy in Brazzaville reported that three crew members were Russians. The copilot was a citizen of Kazakhstan.

La situazione delle compagnie aeree è difficile in tutta la zona dell'Africa equatoriale, ma in Congo è tragica.
Non a caso queste ultime sono tutte presenti nella black list dell' Unione Europea.

Impressionante! Non sembra di veder uscire del fumo da due motori sulla stessa semiala? Può significare qualcosa?
gli antonov che ho visto io decollare lasciano tutti scie nere dai motori quindi ad occhio non mi pare un elemento di indagine, è strano però che l'aereo abbia carrelli estratti e motori operativi. L'assetto è sicuramente inusuale ...
