As she approaches you can see a visible wingtip vortex against the golden colour of the early morning sky. The actual touchdown is not filmed as it was spoiled by heavy HGV traffic. I wasn't going to upload this video but then decided the approach was worth watching.
A QANTAS Airbus A380-800 makes her final approach and then lands on Runway 27L at London Heathrow Airport with a beautiful sunrise behind her.
Just four days after this video was filmed as she arrived in Sydney following a flight from Singapore, two rear tyres on the left hand side of the aircraft burst throwing up sparks. Luckily no one was injured and the plane was repaired within 24 hours and put back into service.
