E' possibile avere una spiegazione del PMS ?
Se non erro è un computer, tarato dalla Compagnia, che sta davanti alle manette e che serve a ottimizzare le presetazioni dell'aereo per avere la massima resa consumando il meno possibile, è giusto?

Si Zeno, quello che dici è + o - corretto.
E' uno strumento (un pò obsoleto) che risiede sulla piantana centrale, e che impostato, con i vari parametri indicati dalla compagnia e i dati di rotta, venti, etc. dovrebbe ottimizzare salita, crociera e discesa per farti consumare - carburante.
PMS=Performance management system.
Funziona discretamente, sicuramente lo strumento è superato(parere personale).

o cosa fa il PMS che l'FMS non fa...?!?ma la differenza sostanziale con l'FMS qual'è? cosa NON fa il PMS che invece l'FMS fa?
FMS completo racchiude sia navigaz. orizzontale che navigazione verticale, il PMS riguarda esclusivamente il piano verticale... secondo me è superato ma molto preciso...
