Salt Lake... Salt Lake! This is Columbia 409! It's Nancy Pryor... stewardess. Something hit us! All the flight crew is dead or badly injured! There's no one left to fly the plane! Help us! Oh my God, help us! (Nancy Pryor, Airport 1975)
"On Jun 11th 2014 the French BEA reported in their weekly bulletin that the aircraft hit a Brazilian Tapir during the takeoff run in Coari, became airborne but could not retract the landing gear and the hydraulic systems were lost. The aircraft continued to Manaus with the landing gear extended. The aircraft landed safely although no brakes and no directional control were available, the aircraft turned to the left when the damaged landing gear touched down but the crew managed to keep the aircraft within the runway edges. The aircraft sustained damage to the right landing gear extension, shock absorber, hydraulic lines, aerodynamic cowlings, doors and wheels. Brazil's CENIPA is investigating the occurrence."
Troppo cara? Invece riparare questo aeroplano?
