Incident: Air Europe B763 near Madrid on Sep 1st 2008, cracked passenger window

An Air Europe Boeing 767-300 on behalf of Volareweb, registration I-VIMQ performing flight VE5119/VE5129 from Fuerteventura,CI (Spain) to Milano Malpensa (Italy) with 262 passengers, diverted to Madrid Barajas Airport,SP (Spain) after one layer of a central window on the left side of the passenger cabin cracked. The airplane landed safely.

The flight had departed Fuerteventura already with a delay of 17 hours. Passengers had to disembark at Madrid and left the airport's terminal building about 3 hours later without knowing, how their journey would continue.
