Incidente Phuket: conferma ruolo windshear

Secondo autorità thailandesi il wind shear sarebbe confermato quale elemento causale dell’incidente ad MD-82 della One-Two-Go nel quale in settembre hanno perso la vita 97 delle 130 persone a bordo. L’ipotesi di windshear era stata avanzata già nelle prime fasi dell’indagine e sarebbe ora confermata dall’analisi dei dati delle registrazioni delle conversazioni e dei dati di volo, nonché dai rapporti di altri piloti atterrati a Phuket in quel giorno.

potrebbero insegnare... a molti dei nostri giornalisti come si conduce un servizio su un tema così delicato e complesso.

e magari far apprezzare ad alcuni passeggeri ... il punto di vista dei naviganti e tecnici che si battono contro alcune aziende che cercano di spremere all'inverosimile il personale.

Le autorità thailandesi hanno sospeso la licenza a One-Two-Go e Orient Thai per carenza nella sicurezza degli aerei

(BangkokPost.com) Civil Aviation Department Director-General Chaisak Angkasuwan announced at a press conference on Monday that Orient Thai Airline and its subsidiary, One-Two-Go Airline were to suspend operations for 30 days, starting July 22.

It was reported the air operator certificates of the two airlines were suspended because of poor safety standards.

Mr Chaisaik went on to say that the airlines were the second group to face service suspension, after Sky Aviation.

The Civil Aviation department will file criminal suits against their pilots, inspectors and the companies within two weeks.

BANGKOK: Pilot error and poor visibility caused the deadly One-Two-Go air crash in Thailand last year according to the official investigation.

The Bangkok Post reports that the investigating committee has concluded the probe of the accident which occurred when the aircraft landed at Phuket's international airport on September 16 last year, killing 90 passengers.

According to the newspaper, Aviation Department director-general Chaisak Angkasuwan quoted the committee report as saying that the accident should be attributed to the failure of the pilot and co-pilot who did not follow proper safety measures. The pilots, from Indonesia, were both killed in the crash. Poor weather at the time of the accident was another factor, according to the report.

The ageing MD82 aircraft skidded off the runway after landing at higher the usual speed. Some 40 passengers survived the incident, the rest perishing in a post-impact inferno.

One-Two-Go, which has had its operations suspended by Thai authorities due to a failure to comply with safety and auditing procedures, is facing civil action from families of some victims.

dall'ultimo post ci sono stati degli aggiornamenti... petizioni per indagare il capoccione della compagnia in oggetto... e i loro modi di operare e sfruttare il personale...

interessante, come per fare qualche piccolo passo nella direzione sacrosanta della sicurezza bisogna ricorrere a questo tipo di iniziative personali...

speriamo vivemente non si arrivi a questo anche qui... anche se la vedo tendente al grigio scuro la situazione nostrana...

Non capisco quale sia il problema della pista, mi pare di capire che anche il comportamento dell'ente Thailandese per la sicurezza aerea sia abbastanza negligente.
